Step 15: The Next Steps on Your Journey

The next steps after heartache healed

You have made it half way through the Step to Heal process!

The **most important action step** to take after you read this step is to complete the second half of the process contained in the Step to Heal companion workbook. Please download the 75-page workbook that came with this program to get the other 15 steps that will help you overcome this heartbreak. You will find the download link below. Some of the steps do overlap with the online process for reinforcement, but most of them are completely new and will truly accelerate your healing.

Next, remember you may have ups and downs. This is normal. The good thing is that many conscious and subconscious seeds have been planted in your mind from the exercises you have completed. These will work over the next few weeks to help alleviate your pain and move you in the direction to reach your better, brighter future. If you have a bad day, remind yourself that you are human. This is a process and you are taking the best steps towards healing faster.

So, here is your homework (sorry!) that you need to complete in order to help you fully heal your broken heart. Here it is:

1) Print, read, and do the exercises in the 75-page companion Step to Heal workbook that came with this program. Print it out, read it, and do the exercises. Some of the content will overlap with the online version of the steps. This was intentional. You will discover a plethora of additional information and exercises within the book.

2) Get a blank notebook and a marker. Write on the front of notebook in big letters: {Your Name}’s Gratitude Journal. Each night before you go to bed, we want you to write down 3 things you were grateful for during the day. It can be a small as your cup of morning coffee.

3) Identify the areas in which you need more work. I would also like to hear areas that you feel need to be addressed for your personal situation. With these two pieces of information, here is what will happen: you will come back and work on the areas where you still need to heal and we will work to improve our Step to Heal system to be more inclusive of healing needs. 4) Finally, remember I am here for you and the community is here for you. Use the forum and the steps that allow comments to express yourself and connect with those that share in this experience and will lift your spirits. You are an amazing person – never, ever lose sight of this.
